ā€œfighting fire with fireā€

The three human brains we need to make work together, in order to deliver a newly creative crimefighting and security

As you will probably see and realise, I have long believed in a new and far more creative crimefighting and security. But this is because I believe the very worst criminal behaviours are much more creative than the technologies currently on offer allow security and crimefighting to become.

Yesterday, I made some brief notes on the back of a visit to Stockholmā€™s Nobel Prize Museum, where I saw this quote from Marie Curie:

Nothing in life is to be feared, it is only to be understood.

Now is the time to understand more, so that we may fear less.

For me, it seemed to prequel Foucaultā€™s observation that everything is dangerous, and precisely for this reason to be studied even more fervently.

But couched in a subtly different way. In part, this subtlety, and the impact ā€” where duly channelled ā€” that it might have on us being able to build a crime- and loophole-free world in a collective future-present, has driven me to produce this online whitepaper, with its associated presentation.

You will have already seen screenshots of the notes themselves above. Below, a presentation on how I begin to suggest we could, in the field of creative criminality, fight its fire with the real fire of three different types of human brains and mindsets.

The presentation can be downloaded in its full pdf form by clicking here.
